Our Silvano sweater is knitted in a blend of certified organic cotton and silk, which makes it very soft.
Silk is a noble and delicate natural material. It is known for its lightness, softness and resistance.
We use organic cotton because its cultivation is more ecological and ethical. From the seed to the flower harvest, organic cotton is cultivated without pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers, and without GMO. Its cultivation consumes less water than conventional cotton.
It is certified GOTS® (Global Organic Textile Standard), the reference certification for organic clothing. It certifies a minimum of 95% certified organic material, with high environmental, social and sanitary requirements throughout the production chain.
