Salma Bow Blouse Blue by Charlie and Mary

The Salma blouse is a true eye-catcher. The detachable bow, the sleeves with a beautiful puff, and the rounded collar give the blouse its unique shape. From the stitching around the shoulders to the small twin shell buttons, every detail on this blouse has been carefully thought through.

We chose a light and flowy 100% viscose deadstock fabric from French Fashion House LHVM for this circular fashion piece. And she is made with love by Makers Unite, in our hometown Amsterdam.

From the development and design phase, Charlie and Mary takes the optimization of the lifespan of our garments into account.

Charlie and Mary only make garments out of fabric that has already lived a life. They use ‘dead stock’ fabrics (leftover inventory from other fashion houses) and recycled fabrics from the textile waste collected in The Netherlands and turn these into new pieces of clothing. 

The team carefully handpick the ‘deadstock’ fabrics we use from warehouses near our production partner in Turkey. We only select natural fabrics and the best qualities available.
