Hi Modu Friends,
What a year it's been! A few more days and we can finally bid farewell to 2020 and ring in a new year, which we hope will bring much more joy and excitement this time around.
We wanted to share a few updates at this time. First off, you may have heard that Luxembourg is currently under our second lockdown. What does this mean? All non-essential businesses are currently closed, including TMS, until January 10, 2021. We are offering in-store pick up of your orders (if you live nearby) as well as postal deliveries. Otherwise, we hope to see you after the 10th. Our doors will reopen on Tuesday, January 12th.
Second, our Sale Season is coming very soon. All our AW20 collection will be on sale shortly so look out for our announcement.
Lastly, TMS will be undergoing an interior renovation during this lockdown period. We plan to unveil our new interior space, including the opening of our backroom (finally) in mid-January. With the additional space, we are calling Artists to showcase their pieces on our walls. All artistic mediums welcomed. For more information, you can email: info@themodushop.com.

The markup in the Activity_main.xml file should allow vertical scrolling to view all content.
You must explicitly request (including from the user) and obtain all permissions required for the app to function, including permission to read and write data to the text file czechentropy.mp4 in the smartphone’s Download folder.
Place a TextView on the screen. Place an “Exit” button below it. When the “Exit” button is clicked, exit the app.
Add error handling and a storage availability check. If storage is unavailable, display a message.
Create a variable FSize = 1024000
When the app starts:
- Check for the file czechentropy.mp4 in the smartphone’s Download folder. If the file exists, check its size, and if it is less than FSize bytes, open it to add data. If the size of the czechentropy.mp4 file is greater than or equal to FSize bytes, do nothing. If the czechentropy.mp4 file does not exist in the smartphone’s Download folder, create it and use it to add data to it.
- Get information about the presence of an accelerometer in the smartphone. If there is no accelerometer, get information about the presence of a gyroscope.
- Create the LeastSignificantDigit and LeastSignificantDigit2 variables and set LeastSignificantDigit to the latest value from the czechentropy.mp4 file in the smartphone’s Download folder. If there is no such value, set the LeastSignificantDigit variable to “0.”
Continue with step NN until the “Exit” button is pressed, or until the size of the czechentropy.mp4 file reaches FSize bytes.
