Return Policy
1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL - RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
The Modu Shop will happily accept unwashed, unaltered and unworn full-price merchandise with original tags attached for a full refund. If you live in Luxembourg, the merchandise must be received within 14 calendar days from the date that the shipment was received. You can return via mail or in person at our Luxembourg City Shop (see website for address). If you live outside Luxembourg, the merchandise must be received within 21 calendar days from the date that the shipment was received. Beyond this time, the Client will no longer be able to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Please note that we do not accept returns for underwear, swimwear, or jewelry.
ALL discounted items are final sale.
2. PROCEDURE FOR RETURNS AND REFUNDS
LUXEMBOURG RETURNS
Please e-mail info@themodushop.com with your order number and items to return to alert us that your return is on its way. The RETURN shipping costs are borne by the customer unless there was a mistake on the part of The Modu Shop or in the case an item was faulty or damaged, the client will be reimbursed for the return shipping charges. The Client is responsible for affixing a label with a tracking number to the package, seal it and send it to the address provided to you. Alternatively, you can also make your return directly at The Modu Shop Showroom in Luxembourg City.
Once we receive the package, your refund will be issued within 2-5 business days unless you opt to receive store credit. The refund will be credited to the same credit card used to make the original purchase. Please note that your bank may take up to ten (10) business days to issue a refund to your card, depending on processing times. This may vary among card issuers; we have no control over this process or the corresponding processing times. You will be notified by e-mail when your return package is received and your refund has been processed.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
For customers outside Luxembourg, please e-mail info@themodushop.com with your order number, items to return, and the reason for the return in order to alert us that your return is on its way. All EU and non-EU clients are responsible for return shipping charges and should affix a label with a tracking number to the package, seal it and send it to the address provided to you! IMPORTANT: the return label must be marked as a "Return of Goods" for any customs documentation. Feel free to reuse the package we sent to you. If you use a return label that does not have a tracking number, we cannot guarantee a refund if your return is lost. 3. GIFT ORDERED
Third-party recipients of gifts ordered on the site may only exchange the items via the procedure for return to the Site. Consequently, only the customer having purchased the gift may ask for a refund in the context of the right of withdrawal (insofar as it is only possible to recredit the bank account of the person having ordered the item).
4. NON-COMPLIANCE
In the event of non-compliance with those instructions, the return item(s) will be considered as inconsistent with our returns policy and it will not be reimbursed. The Modu Shop reserves the right to refuse items from a single order if returned at different times or if the products are damaged.
If the return is made according to the above mentioned conditions, The Modu Shop will refund any amounts already charged upon receipt of the items and will deduct the return shipping costs.
The Modu Shop will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that return packages are lost, stolen, mishandled, or damaged.
5. LATENT DEFECT
The Modu Shop will deliver an item to you that is consistent with the sale transaction and free from any defects upon delivery, that will be fit for the use normally expected of a similar item and will present the characteristics outlined at the time of sale.
If there are any physical defects with your purchase, please e-mail us at info@themodushop.com within one week of receiving the item. Please include your order number, a description of the defect, and a photo. Once we have confirmed the defect, we will send you a complimentary shipping label to affix onto the package (we recommend using the same packaging that you received). You can also make your return directly at The Modu Shop in Luxembourg City.
