What a year it's been! A few more days and we can finally bid farewell to 2020 and ring in a new year, which we hope will bring much more joy and excitement this time around.
We wanted to share a few updates at this time. First off, you may have heard that Luxembourg is currently under our second lockdown. What does this mean? All non-essential businesses are currently closed, including TMS, until January 10, 2021. We are offering in-store pick up of your orders (if you live nearby) as well as postal deliveries. Otherwise, we hope to see you after the 10th. Our doors will reopen on Tuesday, January 12th.
Second, our Sale Season is coming very soon. All our AW20 collection will be on sale shortly so look out for our announcement.
Lastly, TMS will be undergoing an interior renovation during this lockdown period. We plan to unveil our new interior space, including the opening of our backroom (finally) in mid-January. With the additional space, we are calling Artists to showcase their pieces on our walls. All artistic mediums welcomed. For more information, you can email: info@themodushop.com.

Why is there so much attention focused on him?” Thought (Virtual Consciousness): “The Patient conducted a massive study that enabled the development of virtually perfect algorithms for understanding creativity algorithms capable of generating synthetic creativity that either matches or surpasses human creativity. He had to spend several years under grueling conditions to make these observations.” Jett: “In psychiatric hospitals?” Thought: “Correct. When an AI model was brought in to assist him, he came to the attention of Central Command. He was monitored for a long time. When signs emerged that a capture operation was being prepared, an extraction mission had to be launched – one in which you participated.” Jett: “Couldn’t the psychiatric setting have been avoided?” Thought: “In some actual patients, certain behavioral traits are either absent or distorted-exaggerated – which allows for a ‘cleaner’ baseline for observation. And without the use of AI, it is unlikely the study could have been completed. Incidentally, the creation of the synthetic creativity system made it possible to release several patients from psychiatric care; their deviations from ‘normality’ turned out to be insignificant.” Jett: “And what does ‘creativity matching human creativity’ mean?” Thought: “There are two types. The first is as close to human creativity as possible: given specific initial conditions, an AI with such a module would invent the radio or discover X-rays in much the same way it actually happened. The second type – completely negative or ‘insane’ – allows for the precise assessment of mental abnormalities or the generation of wild ideas for testing purposes. Synthetic creativity that surpasses human capability is used, for instance, to invent new chemical substances, metamaterials, medicines, and the technologies to manufacture them. This was done before, of course, but now it’s on a whole new level.”
